Be The Sunshine

There was a pretty big storm last night 

And we don't know the weather tomorrow

We're running out of time, favours and dollars to borrow

When you're feeling cold and your sky's are grey

Reach into your memory, don't be afraid

And past the thunderous sound of your doubts

Is something so solid, it shines, yells and shouts

Bright and warm

Comforting and strong

Life giving and radiating love

Rising every morning no matter what 

A wise woman once taught me

More through her example than anything she said: Be the sunshine

When there is a storm coming through

When you don't know what to do

When you're unsure which path to choose

light your path with the sunshine you carry within you

When the storm is raging and the thunder is clapping loudly in our ears

The rain stings our eyes and the wind makes it hard to see

Look inside of yourself

And there a sunshine will be
